Pac-10 Featherweight headed to Huntley to open the season. After falling behind early 0-6, Connor Halfpenny returned a kickoff for a touchdown to tie the game. The score stood at 6-6 going into halftime. The second half was a stand-still with both teams' defense stepping up the intensity. Oak Park then received a break in the hands of Machi Young. Young was able to reach the edge on a sweep and run a 60+ yard touchdown. But, a holding penalty stopped us from putting up the extra point. Leading into the 4th quarter, Huskies had the lead 12-6. Huntley was able to establish a long drive in the final minutes and score to tie the game at 12-12. Sadly, Huntley scored on their extra point with less than a minute left leaving the score the final score at 13-12, Huntley.
